How to use, FAQ and contact

How it works

1. Open PoseSync on both iPhones. One picks "I'm the model", the other "I'm the photographer".
2. The model's phone finds the other one automatically — tap the white pill to connect.
3. The model sees the live viewfinder. The bottom row (zoom · reference · photos · shutter · exposure · settings) is identical on both phones; either side can use it.
4. On the picture: tap to focus; on the model's phone press and drag to place a standing mark, tap the mark to clear it.

FAQ

Can't find the other phone?

Check, in order: ① Wi‑Fi is switched on on both phones (no network needed, but the switch must be on — peer‑to‑peer uses the Wi‑Fi radio); ② both phones allowed "Local Network" on first launch (fix it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network); ③ the other phone is on the "I'm the photographer" screen.

Stuck on "Connecting"?

A fresh peer‑to‑peer link can drop packets for a few seconds; the app retries by itself. If it takes longer than ~15 s, go back to the home screen on both phones and pick the roles again. Joining the same Wi‑Fi is the most reliable setup.

High latency or stutter?

Open Settings → Link → "Run latency check". If it reads high, join the same Wi‑Fi, move closer, or avoid crowded places.

Where are the photos?

Full‑quality photos are in the photographer's Photos library. The model's phone shows previews only.

Adjusting the pose reference?

It is the same image on both phones. Tap "Reference" or the "Reference · 50%" pill at the top to switch built‑in poses and change opacity, size (or pinch on the picture), position and line colour.

Front camera is mirrored?

Settings → Frame → Mirror: Auto (front mirrored, rear as shot), Always, Never. Mirroring affects the screen only, never the photo.

Can I use it with one phone?

Yes. Pick "I'm the photographer" and don't connect — that's solo mode, with pose outlines, grid and countdown.
